Best Things to Do on Seven Mile Beach, Cayman Islands with Your Girlfriends

There’s something about Seven Mile Beach that makes it the perfect place to slow down and reconnect — especially with your girlfriends.

It’s not just the soft sand or the impossibly clear water, but the rhythm of the days. Mornings ease in gently, afternoons stretch out under the sun, and evenings are made for long dinners and even longer conversations.

If you’re planning a girls’ trip to the Cayman Islands, here’s how I’d spend a few days on and around Seven Mile Beach.

Mornings on the Beach

We always start the day slowly — coffee in hand, walking along the shoreline before the beach fills up.

Seven Mile Beach in the morning feels almost untouched. The water is calm, the light is soft, and everything feels a little quieter. It’s the kind of start to the day that sets the tone for everything else.

A Proper Beach Day

Some days are for exploring, but others are for settling in and not leaving the beach.

We usually base ourselves at one of the hotels along Seven Mile Beach — somewhere you can order lunch to your lounger, take a dip whenever you feel like it, and not think about much at all.

It’s simple, but it’s one of the best parts of being here.

Long, Lazy Lunches

Lunch tends to turn into an afternoon plan.

There are a few spots along the beach that are perfect for this — somewhere you can sit for a while, order something fresh and light, and maybe a cocktail (or two). Nothing rushed, nothing overly planned.

These are always the moments that feel the most like holiday.

A Day on the Water

If there’s one thing I’d always recommend doing at least once, it’s getting out on the water.

A boat day around Grand Cayman is one of those experiences that never gets old — stopping at Stingray City, drifting over coral reefs, and ending somewhere quiet like Starfish Point.

If you can, book something smaller or more private. It makes the whole day feel a lot more relaxed.

Slowing Things Down

Somewhere in the middle of the trip, we usually build in time to properly unwind.

That might look like a spa afternoon, or even just a quieter stretch of beach with no plans at all. It’s easy to fill your days here, but it’s even better when you don’t.

An Afternoon at Camana Bay

When you feel like leaving the beach for a bit, Camana Bay is an easy change of pace.

We usually go for a coffee, wander through a few shops, and then stay for an early dinner or sunset. It’s relaxed, easy, and a nice contrast to the beach.

Evenings Out

Evenings on Seven Mile Beach are something I always look forward to.

This is when we’ll get a little more dressed up and head out for dinner — somewhere by the water, with good food and a bottle of wine to share.

There’s no rush. Dinner stretches out, conversations linger, and before you know it, the whole night has passed.

Sunset, Every Time

No matter what the day looks like, we always try to make it back for sunset.

There’s something about watching the sky change over the water — it never really gets old. It’s simple, but it’s one of those moments that defines a trip here.

Final Thoughts

A girls’ trip to Seven Mile Beach isn’t about doing everything — it’s about enjoying where you are.

It’s the slow mornings, the long lunches, the time spent together without distraction. And somehow, that always ends up being more than enough.
